Part-Qualified Accountant

Job Summary

As a Part-Qualified Accountant, you will assist in the preparation of monthly accounts, financial analysis, budgeting, and audits. This role is ideal for someone studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA, with strong technical skills and a desire to grow within a supportive finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Monthly and quarterly inventory reconciliation and adjustment
  • Stock management
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting documentation
  • Process accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
  • Assist with VAT returns and tax compliance
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support financial planning
  • Provide financial analysis and variance reporting as required
  • Liaise with external auditors during audits
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
  • Support process improvements and system enhancements

Requirements

  • Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification is desirable
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, retail environment

Truck Driver

Job description

You will have a key role ensuring smooth deliveries to retail outlets & hotels. The role will entail physical duties therefore on-site manual handling training will be provided.

Delivering multi-drops to customers nationwide.

Complete a check of delivery with customer and obtain a signature.

Offload trailer at retail warehouses/shop.

Clean trucks as required and ensuring cleanliness of the cab.

Work safely within the Health & Safety environmental guidelines.

Work within all legal parameters of drivers hours and working time directive legislation, being fully compliant with tachograph and break requirements.
